"My collection is inspired by 'The Birth of Venus' as well as the story of 'The Little Mermaid'. My collection follows the journey of the Little Mermaid from sea to land to sea foam. I like to think it was Venus guiding the Little Mermaid on her journey of love. I wanted to give Venus a new story as more than just a pretty face. There is power in feeling beautiful. There is power in the female form."
